Improved Dual Pixel CMOS AF

The EOS M50 delivers improved Dual Pixel CMOS AF for fast, accurate autofocus that helps you get the photo you would like right because the moment happens. Depending on the compatible lens used, the autofocus area can reach up to 143 AF points to hide a picture area of approx. 88% horizontal by 100% vertical. 4K UHD Video Caption

The EOS M50 camera can record in 4K UHD1 at 24 frames per second for videos with high detail and a cinematic look. To showcase epic moments, a high-speed 120p2 mode is feasible in HD. When shown at normal speed, this creates a slow-motion effect that can highlight fast action. 4K frame cropping allows you to select some of the 4K video frames you’ve captured and made a high-resolution still image, all in-camera.

Built-in EVF3

The built-in high-resolution electronic viewfinder3 features approximately 2,360,000 dots so you’ll see high detail in what you’re capturing.
